Registration Information - IAS Annual Meeting
1. IJAS students, teachers and parents DO NOT register here. Please use the IJAS Registration Form here: https://www.scienceiniowa.org/ijas-registration
2. IAS Member registration categories are grayed out (unavailable) until an email address associated with a Member is entered during registration. Non-member registration categories are always in bold text (available for registration).
3. A valid Member email address will turn the appropriate Member category text bold (available for registration).
4. Non-members, or IAS members who have not renewed, may want to join or renew before registering. Click on "Join or Renew" on the top menu bar. After receiving confirmation of your membership payment register for the meeting to receive the discounted rate.

Primary Author Abstract Fees (Member and Non-Member)
Primary Authors pay a discounted Abstract Fee in lieu of their normal Registration.
Primary Author Fee Payment
A Primary Presenter pays an Abstract Fee instead of the registration fee. When an abstract is accepted the Primary Presenter is notified and they are required to pay the fee by the deadline. Abstract fees are special non-refundable rate for publication in the Proceedings and the Journal of the Iowa Academy of Science. If the abstract fee is not received by the deadline it will not be published and the poster or oral presentation will be cancelled.
An abstract fee must be paid for each accepted abstract. If you are listed as Primary Presenter on 2 abstracts you are responsible for paying 2 Abstract Fees. The Abstract Fee covers publishing the abstract in the Proceedings and the Journal of the Iowa Academy of Science.

Field Trips
Field Trip A: UNI Dementia Simulation House Experience
Two trips with 5 attendees per trip are allowed. Sign-up during registration. You need to verify your reservation when you arrive at the conference.
Field Trip B: Geology Field Trip

UNI Parking Ramp Access
The Iowa Academy of Science has arranged for IAS attendees to receive a parking pass for Friday at the UNI Multimodal Transporation Center. The cost is $2.50.You will receive parking instructions a day or two after registering.
On-street parking is available in residential areas to the north and east of the UNI campus. Please obey signs for parking time allowed and on what side of street to park. Walking time will range from 5 to 15 minutes to the registration desk in the Towers Center.

Methods of Payment
Register Online
Attendees may register conveniently online and then pay online or by mail.
1. Register online and then choose to "Pay Online" or "Invoice Me."
Clicking the "Pay Online" button will take you to the online payment screen through Pay Pal. You are not required to be a member of Pay Pal to use the secure service.
Click the "Invoice Me" button to be emailed an invoice – which may be paid online or by mail. You will also receive a registration summary. From the registration summary you may choose to view or pay (online) the outstanding invoice. To pay the invoice offline mail a copy of the invoice and a check for the amount due to the Iowa Academy of Science.
2. To register and pay by mail download the PDF registration form available on the opening registration page.
3. Purchase orders are accepted only from schools and academic institutions. Enter the purchase order number on the registration form. To enter multiple registrations using the same purchase order: after completing the first registration (without paying) begin the second registration using the same email address and purchase order number. The contact email should be for the person who will handle payment. NOTE: The email address entered will be used for communication about payment and the conference.
Credit and Debit Card Security
For security reasons the Academy does not accept credit or debit card payments by mail, email, or telephone. We do accept credit and debit cards securely online.
Online Convenience
By paying online all attendees may review their paid and unpaid invoices at any time. Just return to the registration form and enter the email address used to register.
